Maura Gramzinski is the founder of RedCamper, a Denver-based brand that produces and celebrates travel inspired goods.

What You'll Get

Jam with us - Come over to our test kitchen and we’ll spend 2 hours together talking about what makes a great jam, and how to do that without burning your kitchen down or poisoning your relatives.

Take home your jam and some Deliciousness too - You’ll get to take home the jams you create along with a RedCamper Picnic Pack featuring three jars from our award winning line.

Step Into the Test Kitchen with RedCamper

Soulcraft This!

Description - Before RedCamper's award-winning jams hit the streets of Colorado and specialty stores throughout North America, they're imagined, created, and tasted in Maura's test kitchen.

In this Soulcrafting experience, you'll learn the core essentials of selecting fruit, and safely preparing your own jam while even more importantly learning how to create something that is your own. We’ll start from the basics of what inspires you, and work through how to craft that inspiration into an eatable, desirable item.  We’ll probably do this while sipping a cocktail or whiskey neat.

Cost - $300 for a group of up to four people.

The Program - This is where the magic happens:

Step 1: What's the story? Why are you making that jam? What is motivating you, where is that drive coming from and what are the reasons?

Step 2: Flavor profiling. We all come with predisposed tastes we enjoy from our history of living on this planet. Those tastes and flavors are uniquely yours.  This is how you make something your own. We’ll discuss it.

Step 3: Pick your fruit wisely. How to know what is jammable, and what isn’t. And how to prep it with kindness.

Step 4: Shop class safety film. Not really, but we will cover some safety items you should really know about. Like how not to cut your finger off, or how to make sure you aren’t jarring germs.

Step 5: The cook. We aren’t making meth, but we are cooking some boiling hot sugary fruit, it can be dangerous. How to manage that without dropping it on your foot or boiling over, the fear of all jammers.

Step 6: Final step, jarring and lidding.

Step 7: A toast to your successful jamming session.

About Maura Gramzinski

My story started many years ago in the back of a pickup truck with a redcamper headed to anywhere. The granddaughter of globe trotting, epicurean, flowered suitcase lugging grandparents, and the daughter of owners of that well used red camper, I had the spirit of travel and adventure bred into my genes.

Travel. Be aware. Experience. Document. Share. Connect. And have a memorable meal while you are at it.  From my first product, the original tote made of 35mm travel slides, to a paper goods line of greeting cards, journals and postcards to the newest adventure, Deliciousness, a saucy jam, that's what RedCamper, my company,  was born of, and believes in.

I bring together a lifetime of travel and food experience to create Deliciousness. The combination of road-worn tires, a degree in photography, a career in marketing and advertising, a curiosity about roadside stands and a life long passion for picking fruit and cooking sweets equals out to a unique perspective on food and the culture of sharing that food.

Every great adventure starts with at least one intention or destination and while one may not actually end up there, we gather endless stories and experiences to make that endeavor worth every flat tire and breathless view.
