Katie Baum, is the founder and chef of Eat - Colorado’s premier private chef and boutique catering company, and co-founder of the highly adored LOCAL eat + drink in Lyons, Colorado. She believes strongly in community building and supporting local agriculture and permaculture production. Eat’s mission is simple: healthy cuisine can be joyful, creative and, of course, beautiful and delicious!

What You'll Get
Hands-on Education - Katie will teach you to make some of her famous recipes, customizing the menu based on your group's tastes, dietary restrictions, and cooking experience. Where possible, you'll be cooking with local ingredients.
Learn from the comfort of your home or work with Katie in her commercial kitchen. It's up to you! Either way, Katie will provide the key ingredients and cooking equipment.
All Classes Include:
Individual Menu Planning using Colorado’s freshest ingredients.
Shopping for the ingredients the day of the event.
All the necessary equipment – pots, pans, and utensils.
Clean up of your kitchen leaving it cleaner than when we arrived.
Recipes upon request.
Small Plates and Tapas
Description - You and your friends will spend three hours with Katie learning to prepare a masterful spread of small plates and tapas. No matter what you decide to cook, each guest will come away from the experience with lasting memories, recipes, and a filled tummy.
You and Katie will cook together so that you can learn new techniques and pick up useful tips and tricks. You'll also be able to add our menu to your personal collection so that you can cook your favorites again and again.
We've listed some sample dishes in this section but the sky's the limit with Katie. Check out some of Katie's other favorite small plates and tapas here or tell Katie about your personal favorites.
Limit of six people per experience.
Cost - Experiences typically cost $150 for groups of one to three and $250 for groups of four or more. Since each experience with Katie is customized for your group, you'll create the menu with Katie before deciding on the final price.
