What You'll Get
Personalized Education - Each experience with Nate will last two to three hours with the exception of the Lyons farm-to-bar experience, which will last closer to four hours. If necessary, a meeting spot and ride can be arranged to and from Lyons for a small price for travel. All other experiences will take place in the comfort of your own home, alongside friends and/or family.
Catching a Buzz with your Buds - Since we will be working with alcohol, there is a very good chance of you catching a buzz! Whether it’s a private, one-on-one session, or a group of 6 friends, we will taste all of our cocktails. We ask that all of our customers drink responsibly and refrain from driving while under the influence of alcohol.
The Lyons Farm-To-Bar Experience
Description - This experience will commence at Spirit Hound distillery in Lyons, CO where you will gain insight into the gin, whisky, rum, vodka, and coffee liqueur production upon privately touring the distillery. After becoming knowledgeable on the taste profiles within each spirit, we will begin discussing and determining which tastes are best suited for certain cocktails.
With alcohol provided by Spirit Hound, the class will continue across the street to the Lyon’s Farmette where we will harvest in season plants and vegetables to utilize in our crafting of cocktails. For instance, during the summer months, cucumbers can be harvested to make purees and simple syrups along with mint and basil to be muddled in cocktails like the mojito. After harvesting some of our ingredients, we will travel down the road to PizzaBar 66 in Lyons to create cocktails using the supplies we have gathered.
This experience will last for approximately four hours.
Cost - $700. This experience is meant to be enjoyed with friends and I can accommodate groups of up to nine people. Reserve a date, rally your crew, and let's do this.
