Knotty Tie Co. creates amazing custom handmade neckwear in their super hip studio in Denver's Santa Fe Arts District. Founded in 2013 by a couple of guys who set out to create something “that we could make with our own hands”, Knotty Tie has quickly flourished as one of Denver’s most celebrated creative teams. Built with superior quality and craftsmanship, Knotty uses all natural materials and every single stitch is done by hand. It’s the Knotty way.
What You'll Get
Hands-on Education - Once you've created your custom design, you'll head to the Knotty studio in Denver to bring it to life. Alongside the Knotty team of experts, you'll learn the foundation techniques of sewing a tie from scratch: cutting, stitching, sizing.
Build Your Own Tie - 100% custom. You create your custom design: fabric, style, size and Knotty will teach you how to build it.
Bow Tie, or Standard? The Choice is Yours
Description - Your Knotty Tie experience begins with creating your own custom design. Choose from a bow tie or standard tie, fabric design, width and length. Your custom printed fabric will arrive at the Knotty studio within one week when you'll be ready to build.
You'll have three hours of learning with the Knotty guys to experience the fundamentals of sewing as you make your tie. You'll learn hand stitching, machine sewing, cutting and sizing along the way.

Cost - $75 per person. Includes custom printed fabric and use of all tools and equipment.

About Knotty Tie

We are self-taught sewers and designers, passionate and goofy, working hard each day to make awesome things that help people express themselves, while also making a positive impact in our local community.
We started out learning to sew and making ties in our living room with designs that were mostly inspired by nature and cultures around the World. We quickly discovered that not everyone was as ecstatic as we were about our awesome, but limited design options. And so, we decided to create a platform where anyone could design the tie they imagined, leaving any preferences for style and fit up to you.
From materials to labor practices, we uphold the highest standards for treatment of people and the environment. Our ties are comprised of mostly natural fibers and are printed on 100% organic cotton sateen fabric in an environmentally-friendly process. We don't outsource production to foreign factories with ethically questionable practices, we make each tie by hand at The Knotty Tie HQ in Denver, Colorado.
